In 2016 I teamed up with Justin Pearson and Brandon Gallagher to create The Chain, a new music PR company.
Formerly the drummer of Today Is the Day and Wetnurse, I played hundreds of shows across North America and Europe and recorded on four albums. I am now writing, recording, and performing music under the name Body Stuff.
As a writer, I have had my work published in print in VICE, Mass Appeal, High Times, The Journal, and more.
In 2006 I founded Precious Metal, a weekly live music series in New York City. Consisting of over 300 shows in its 7-year run, Precious Metal was named "New York's premier metal party" by famed DJ Jonathan Toubin, "NYC's best metal party" by The Village Voice, "the city's most open-minded metal night" by Time Out New York, "the best in contemporary extreme metal" by The A.V. Club, and "Manhattan's epicenter of underground metal" by Invisible Oranges. The series is credited with having helped revitalize the New York City metal scene.
I am a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College (B.A., 1999).
